The Idea
Odysseus represents an individual on a quest to find their way back to Ithaca in search of their inner harmony, identity, and well-being.
Modern Odysseus seeks himself in urban or revolutionary environments or even in the margins of society of every age. Through his wanderings and inner journey, he discovers his identity and self-expression in culture and subculture, in the status quo and marginalization. He produces new fashion, behavioral patterns, and actions which constitute novel narratives that transform pre-existing structures.
This project reflects the recognizability of each style from the early twentieth century to this day through the transformations of Odysseus.
